Sygna on stream
The Sygna satellite began production on 1 August 2000. Its subsea installation was tied back by a multiphase pipeline to Statfjord C for oil processing, stabilisation, storage and export.
Associated gas from the field was mixed with Statfjord output for processing before being injected and/or exported via the Statpipe and Northern Leg Gas Pipeline transport systems. The development solution included a four-slot seabed template and two production wells. A new pipeline was laid to Statfjord C, with an existing line to Statfjord North used for injection water.
